Expecting mums enjoy a night out at rodeo
They were amongst a big crowd at Buchanan Park for the Great Northern Rodeo Series.

Tiania Vokes and Ngawai Rangi work together, have gone through months of pregnancy together and hope their two little boys will one day play together.
The expecting mothers joined several thousand spectators at Buchanan Park on Saturday night for the Great Northern Rodeo Series event.
The pair said the night of rodeo action was a “last hurrah” before they both expect to give birth to their healthy baby boys in the coming weeks.
At 35 weeks and 30 weeks pregnant respectively, Tiania and Ngawai shared their big news at the same time while working behind the counter at the Discount Jeans retail store in Mount isa Village.
“I kept it a secret for a few weeks because I knew her and her partner were trying for a baby and I didn’t want to rub it in or anything like that,” Ngawai explained.
“But a few weeks later Tiania told me she was pregnant and then I shared my news at the same time.”
“I walked into work with a pregnancy test and showed her,” Tiania added with a big smile on her face.
The pair have spent the past eight months swapping blog posts and online videos giving advice on navigating the nine months of pregnancy.
“We wanted to come together to the rodeo because it is our last hurrah before we will both have to spend a lot more time at home,” Ngawai said.
“I have lived in Mount Isa for most of my life and the rodeo is always just a really fun and exciting night out.”
